Example of humanity Maharishi Dadhichi

Example of humanity
Maharishi Dadhichi

All beings in this world live only and only for themselves. Everyone wants their own good. But there have been some such persons or great men who did not shy away from sacrificing themselves and their everything for charity. Many such men and women have come to our India. Those who sacrificed themselves while suffering themselves for the help of others and for the betterment of humanity.
Maharishi Dadhichi's name is taken with respect among such great philanthropic ascetic men. Mahajnani, great ascetic, Maharishi Dadhichi His fame was spread to every corner of the country. Students from far and wide used to come here to get education. He was very gentle, kind, generous and treated everyone with love.
Maharishi Dadhichi Naimisharanya lived in an ashram built in the dense forests of Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. In those days a fight broke out between the Devas and the Asuras, the gods were trying to maintain the kingdom of Dharma. So that the welfare of the people continues and there should not be any kind of crisis on humanity. But the actions and behavior of the Asuras were not good. They used to persecute people in various ways, they were fighting with the gods to establish their dominance. The deities started worrying about this; the defeat of the deities means the establishment of the kingdom of the demons. The gods were fighting with full force, this fight went on for a long time. The gods made many efforts to defeat the demons but they could not succeed.
Desperate, the gods reached their king Indra and said, O Devraj! We do not see any chances of success in war. Why not ask Brahma ji some solution in this matter! Following the advice of the gods, Indra approached Brahmadev. Indra expressed his concern to him, then Brahma said, O Devraj! There is so much power in renunciation that on its strength any impossible task can be made possible, but it is sad that none of you are walking on this path at this time. Devraj Indra got worried after hearing the words of Brahma ji, he said what will happen then Lord! Will this world go into the hands of Asuras? If this happens, it will be a great disaster. Brahmdev said! Don't be discouraged Rajan is a way to win over the demons! If you try, the gods will surely win! Indra asked being impatient, Mr. Tell us the quick solution, we will try our best. Then Brahma ji told that an ascetic is doing penance in the Naimisharanya forest of Bharatvarsha. His name is Dadhichi. He has gathered immense power within himself on the strength of penance and sadhana. If you use weapons made from their bones in battle, the demons will surely be defeated. Indra said - but he is alive, how can we get his ashes? Brahma ji said that whatever solution I had, I told you the solution of the remaining problems can be done by Dadhichi himself. Maharishi Dadhichi was aware of this war. He wanted the war to end, the people of the ashram, who always wanted peace, were unhappy with the fight. He also used to wonder why people keep fighting with each other. Maharishi Dadhichi was worried that the victory of the demons would increase the atrocities.

Devraj Indra bowed down and reached the ashram of Maharishi Dadhichi. Maharishi Dadhichi was in a meditative state at that time and Indra stood in front of him in the posture of a petitioner with folded hands. Distracted, he asked Indra to sit - then asked him! Tell me, how did Devraj come? Indra said sorry Maharishi. I have disturbed your attention. Maharishi you will know that at this time the demons have attacked the deities. He is committing all kinds of atrocities. His commander Vritrasura is very cruel and tyrannical. The gods are getting defeated by him. Maharishi said that this is my concern too, why don't you talk to Brahma ji. Indra said that I have talked to him, he has also told the remedy. But! But..... but what Devraj? Why did you stop, tell me clearly, if my life is needed, I am ready to give it happily. Victory should only belong to the gods. When Maharishi said this, Indra said! O Maharishi, O ascetic, Brahma ji told that if a weapon is made from your bones, it will be like a thunderbolt. Such a Vajrastra is needed to kill Vritrasura. Maharishi's face became radiant on hearing Indra's words. He thought, I am blessed. His romance was blown away. The Maharishi said happily! Devraj, your wish will definitely be fulfilled. What could be more fortunate for me than that? You must certainly make weapons from my bones and destroy the demons and establish peace all around. Dadhichi, free from fear and anxiety, closed his eyes. He separated his life from the body by the force of yoga. His body became lifeless. Devraj Indra respectfully saluted his dead body and brought it with him. Vajra made from the bones of Maharishi, due to which Vritrasur was killed and the demons were defeated and the gods won. Even today people remember Maharishi Dadhichi with reverence for his sacrifice. A fair is organized every year in Naimisharanya in his memory in the month of Falgun. This fair is a reminder of Maharishi's spirit of sacrifice and human service.
